Project Based Schools Program

Here at ECOSS we have a successful project based schools program.  Schools come one day per week for a term, and work alongside our Youth Worker Geoff Lawrence, to undertake earth building and other projects. Currently we have:   CIRE Services Year 9 students planting and implementing our Biofiltration System.  We received a grant from Melbourne Waters- Rural Land Program, and have been kindly donated wetland plants from Australian Ecosystems for this project. Biofiltration             Healesville High School Alternative year 10 program building the EarthShip Cubby:- Funded by a small grant from The Andrews Foundation. Earthbag design             EACH local indigenous kids building the Koori Cubby: Funded by The Andrews Foundation, koori cubby               CIRE Services Year 7 students taking care of and building the fence around the Frog Bog: frog bog 4               And CIRE services year 11 student are about to embark upon the Earth Goddess – Earthship style seat, and big sculptural letters of ECOSS.
