INVITATION TO:
Who We Are, Where We Are
Connecting Our Community through Common Ground
A morning tea, conversation and opportunity to connect through culture and place in the Yarra Ranges.
The Yarra Ranges is home to people who have lived here for over 40,000 years and those who have come at different times from all over the world. This migration continues today. We invite everyone, especially those who see themselves as being from, or whose families came from, a different land, at any time, to come along, meet and discuss how we can celebrate, learn from each other and share the place we live in with knowledge and respect.
The morning tea will be presided over by Wurundjeri elder Aunty Kim Wandin and facilitated by local artist and community development worker, Santha Press.
